Description: D-shaped plaited pandanus leaf (lauhala) basket with squared off bottom corners. Bottom, rim and front two corners are reinforced with inner tube rubber. Strips of denim are sewn on to reinforce sides and bottom. Shoulder strap is made of quilted cotton cloth which is tied to rim with twine and wire.
